Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is positioned perfectly for exploring South Iceland, great for those coming from the Golden Circle, though it may not be ideal as it is by the roadside at the edge of a small town. The rooms are comfortable, but watch out for a potential crack in the middle. The service was good, with a kind gesture after an issue with the shower door. The dining options were hearty but could have been more varied. Ideal for driving around the area in South Iceland.
I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The service was beyond amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The location was perfect for exploring the South coast, and the dining experience was a delightful taste of Icelandic cuisine. The value for money here is exceptional.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel with a few highlights and some drawbacks. The rooms were recently renovated and well-equipped, but unfortunately, they are not soundproof. The service was top-notch, very informative, and the staff deserves credit for making my stay pleasant. The location is perfect for an overnight stop before exploring the South Coast, but it's not that great being by the roadside. The dining options were simple but sufficient, offering a good variety at a reasonable price.
The hotel rooms were spacious, clean, and perfect for 3 adults with a crib provided for our 6-month-old. It was convenient for our luggage, but occasional restaurant smells in the corridor were a minor inconvenience.
The hotel rooms were cozy and well-equipped with a mini kitchen, perfect for a short stay. However, they lacked a kettle or coffee machine, and the road noise could be heard. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, although a bit lacking in some instances. The location was convenient with nearby amenities but lacked any special charm. The dining options were basic and limited, especially early in the morning, and the pricing seemed high for what was offered. Overall, the stay was decent for a stopover along route #1.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and spacious, although the bathroom was tiny. The basic breakfast offered was decent, and the room itself was comfortable with a nice view of the internal courtyard. However, the service was not consistently friendly, and at times seemed careless. Despite this, the staff was incredibly helpful in providing information on exploring Iceland.
